Beautiful park with one of best playgrounds around. A lot of people will also brings their kids here for prom/school dance photos. The playground has a variety of stuff for all ages and is definitely worth checking out at least one time. If you are in the area I'd recommend also hitting up canal basin Park which is only a few minutes away and always a LOT of fun for kids.

Our first time coming here in late April. A lot has yet to bloom, yet a lot is already back to life for spring. Very spacious garden mixed in the center with an awesome wooden park. My children range from 17, 15, 9, 8 and 6. The older ones love all the hiding places you can utilize with their younger siblings in playing tag. There's a Creek at the tree line, but it's not emphasized to utilize for scenery.

Located within Legion Park, this enchanted and well maintained garden is home to a playground, beautiful statues and many plants and trees. The park itself is one of the best ones in the area, with walking trails, pavilions, a Bbq spot, baseball field, a playground and even a porta potty restrooms. Parking is available at the American Legion Social Hall parking lot.
